I-190 Exit 9 Southbound Ramp to Temporarily Close
ALBANY, NY (04/01/2008; 1055)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that the Exit 9 (Peace Bridge, Canada, Porter Avenue) southbound exit ramp along I-190 will be temporarily closed from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 due to necessary highway repairs.
A detour route will be in place directing southbound traffic to Exit 8 (Niagara Street) to re-enter I-190 via Virginia Street/Carolina Street.
The Authority has activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to advise motorists of the temporary closure.
The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience while these necessary repairs take place.
