Interchange 1 (Hall Place) Ramp Closure On I-87

ALBANY, NY (08/13/2007; 1610)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that the City of Yonkers will be performing roadwork that will require the overnight closure of the southbound exit ramp at Interchange 1 (Yonkers, Hall Place) on I-87.

The closure will be in place Tuesday, August 14, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15. In order to access Hall Place, motorists will be directed to a detour from Interchange 4 (Yonkers, Cross County Parkway) on I-87 to Central Park Avenue to Hall Place.

Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) have been activated to advise motorists of the closure.

Motorists are reminded to remain alert and aware of their surroundings while traveling through all work zones.
