Interchange 40 (Weedsport) E-ZPass Entry Lane to Close for Reconstruction
ALBANY, NY (08/17/2007; 1037)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that a dedicated E-ZPass entry lane at Interchange 40 (Weedsport) will close for pavement reconstruction at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 20.
The dedicated E-ZPass lane is tentatively scheduled to reopen at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 31, weather permitting.
During the closure, motorists are encouraged to plan for minor delays during the morning commute.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience and understanding while this essential repair takes place.
The Authority offers a free email service called TRANSalert to its customers via email or text messaging to inform them of major unscheduled incidents that may affect their travel on the Thruway.
