Students Receive $1,500 in Healthy SC School Video Contest
COLUMBIA, SC (01/04/2008)(readMedia)-- First Lady Jenny Sanford will present the six creators of the runner-up video in the December Healthy SC School Video Contest with the cash prize of $1,500 on Tuesday, January 8th at 10 am at Garrett Academy of Technology (2731 Gordon Street, North Charleston).
The runner-up video "The Coffin" was created by Reginald Scott, Dasiree Manigault, Judson Butler, Clarissa Lesueu, Shar - keas Jones, and Courtney Button.
The students will share the prize of $1,500 that will be received in the form of cash or savings bond. The Garrett Academy of Technology will receive a $100 gift certificate to Wal-Mart.
