Governor Spitzer, senior financial services executives will hold press availability

NEW YORK, NY (01/18/2008; 0700)(readMedia)-- Governor Eliot Spitzer and senior financial services executives will be available to meet with the press following the first meeting of the Governor's Commission to Modernize the Regulation of Financial Services. They will discuss the Commission's goal of keeping New York the world financial capital by modernizing financial services regulation. In particular, they will discuss the innovative new approach being proposed.
