Thursday, January 10th at NYS Agricultural Society Meeting, Liverpool

ALBANY, NY (01/09/2008; 1459)(readMedia)-- New York State Agriculture Commissioner Patrick Hooker will present the annual State of Agriculture address to the New York State Agricultural Society on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at approximately 7:00 pm at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool. The annual address will review the accomplishments of 2007 and set forth the challenges to growing the State’s agriculture industry while protecting consumers.

All media are welcome and encouraged to attend.

WHERE: Holiday Inn Syracuse/Liverpool – Convention Center 441 Electronics Parkway, Liverpool, New York

The State of Agriculture address will be presented at the conclusion of the New York State Agricultural Society’s 176th Annual Forum, which begins at 9:00 am on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool. The theme of the Agricultural Society’s meeting this year is “Energy Alternatives: Impact and Opportunities for New York Agriculture.” All media are welcome to take part in the other events that are scheduled to take place during the day.
