SCHENECTADY, NY (04/14/2008; 1000)(readMedia)-- The New York Lottery celebrates the arrival of Spring with $17,000,000 in prize checks for three new Lottery Millionaires - two from Queens County and a third from the Bronx. The Lottery will present the winners with their checks among the cherry blossoms and other spring blooms at the Queens Botanical Garden in Flushing.

Winners to receive checks include:

  • A laid-off warehouse supervisor from St. Albans, Queens who won a $14,000,000 Lotto jackpot from the drawing held on April 2, 2008;
  • A co-owner of a Korean restaurant from Elmhurst, Queens who won $1,000,000 on the $500,000,000 Extravaganza instant game; and
  • A tow truck operator from Pelham Bay, Bronx who won a guaranteed minimum prize payout of $2,000,000 on the Win $2,000 a Week For Life instant game.
