Ravena Man Collects Record $10,000,000 Lottery Instant Game Prize
SCHENECTADY, NY (04/30/2008; 0800)(readMedia)-- The New York Lottery’s Yolanda Vega will present a GE retiree from Ravena with his prize check valued at $10,000,000 – the richest instant (scratch-off) game prize ever awarded to an Albany County Lottery winner. The event is being held at the retail location where the winning ticket was sold.
The 58-year-old bachelor won his prize on the Lottery’s Win For Life Spectacular instant game, which features a top prize of $10,000 a week for life. The game guarantees a minimum prize payout of $10,000,000.
He is the Capital Region’s first Lottery Millionaire of 2008.
