New York Lottery Toasts NYC Restaurant Week; Dishes Up Two New NYC Lottery Millionaires
SCHENECTADY, NY (07/28/2008; 1100)(readMedia)-- The New York Lottery is serving up some serious dough to two New York Lottery winners from Brooklyn and Queens in conjunction with NYC Restaurant Week. The two winners, a stay-at-home grandmother from (Flatbush) Brooklyn and a limo driver from (Astoria) Queens, won a collective $3,000,000 in moo-la on two different Lottery instant games.
The winners will have their Millionaires cake (and eat it too) at the Water's Edge Restaurant, home of the luxury Yacht, M/V Marika, which is docked in front of the restaurant. The Water's Edge is one of more than 200 NYC restaurants participating in NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2008.
The event will mark the New York City debut of New York Lottery Drawing Personality Gretchen Dizer.
