Lottery Players from Queens, Bronx Collect $84,000,000 in Prizes from Two Separate Lotto Drawings
SCHENECTADY, NY (07/08/2008; 0800)(readMedia)-- New York Lottery Director Gordon Medenica will team up with the Lottery's Marissa Rodriguez to award not one, but two historic prize checks to two downstate Lotto winners.
The first winner from Woodside, Queens, will receive a Lotto prize check valued at $65,000,000 - the largest pay out ever awarded to a single New York Lotto ticket holder in Lottery history.
Following the $65,000,000 award to the Queens winner, the Lottery will present a Claremont (Bronx) retiree with a separate Lotto prize check valued at $19,000,000 - the largest Lotto jackpot to date in 2008.
All totaled, the winners will receive prize checks valued at $84,000,000.
