ALBANY, NY (08/07/2008; 1138)(readMedia)-- The State Environmental Board will meet on Monday, August 11, at 2 p.m. in Room 129 at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) headquarters at 625 Broadway, Albany, New York.
The 16-member board, composed of state agency heads and representatives of the environmental community, citizen groups, business and industry will consider the following proposed rulemaking actions of the Department of Environmental Conservation:
- 6 NYCRR Part 242 - New York CO2 Budget Trading Program: to cap and reduce carbon dioxide emissions from power plants as part of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI); and amendments to 6 NYCRR Part 200 - General Provisions.
The meeting is open to the public.
