OGS ANNOUNCES OPENING OF BLACK HISTORY MONTH EXHIBITION HONORING THE TUSKEGEE AIRMEN
ALBANY, NY (02/06/2008; 1541)(readMedia)-- The New York State Office of General Services and Division of Veterans Affairs will mark the opening of an exhibition titled “Heroes on Two Fronts: The Tuskegee Airmen.” The program will feature two Tuskegee airmen, who will speak on their experiences as members of this groundbreaking group of military pilots, who trained at the Tuskegee Army Air Field in Alabama. The exhibition tells the story of their victory against racism and discrimination as they trained to serve their country.
