Daily Attractions:

• - AJ Lutter, Chainsaw Artist - Talented artist AJ Lutter has sold his chainsaw-sculpted art in all 50 states. Showtimes daily, 11 a.m., 2 & 4 p.m. in Heritage Village.
• - Enjoy some of the finest photography from Iowa's most talented artists and the Patty and Jim Cownie Cultural Center home to art demonstrations, intricate woodcarvings, detailed doll houses, hands-on art activities in the courtyard and ice carving demonstrations in the atrium. Open daily, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• - Visit the MidAmerican Energy Wind Education Center and fully-functioning wind turbine, located on Expo Hill. Showcasing Iowa's commitment to renewable energy, this turbine generates the total amount of electricity needed to power the 11-day Fair.

The Iowa State Fair runs through August 17 - "U Gotta Love It." The Fairgrounds are located at East 30^th and East University Avenue, just 10 minutes east of downtown Des Moines, and are open 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. each day of the Fair. Exhibit hours may vary.
