Midhudsonmedia Awarded New York State Contract for Webcasting and Web Hosting Services

HUDSON, NY (10/03/2007; 1327)(readMedia)-- Streaming media provider Midhudsonmedia announced today that it has been awarded a backdrop contract with New York State Office of General Services for Webcasting and Web Hosting services.

Midhudsonmedia has been developing and hosting Websites for over 8 years. The firm also began Webcasting press conferences, events, meetings, and commercial content long before high-speed broadband connections were widely available. The OGS IT Services contract (#CMT308A) awarded to Midhudsonmedia enables the firm to more readily offer its consulting, systems integration, and ongoing services in these areas to New York State government agencies. The OGS IT Services Contract is a multi-vendor state contract that was recently amended to include Webcasting as a service category. Since July 1st, 2007, all New York state government agencies have been required to make their open meetings more accessible to the public via Webcasting.
