Minnesota Hampshire Breeder Wins Hampshire Sheep Show
DES MOINES, IA (08/22/2008; 1719)(readMedia)-- Charles Bobendrier and Bobendrier Farms of Pipestone, Minn. dominated the Hampshire Sheep Show, judged Thursday, August 14, at the 2008 Iowa State Fair.
Champion Hampshire Ewe honors were captured by Bobendrier's yearling entry. The Minnesota breeder's winter lamb won the Reserve Champion Ram title and the farm also claimed the Premier Exhibitor crown.
The Champion Hampshire Ram title was won by the fall ram lamb of Held's Hampshires of Aurora, S.D.
Ronald Pullin of Waterloo won Reserve Champion honors with his yearling ewe.
