Motorists Traveling to the State Fair Via the Thruway to use Interchange 36 due to Closure of Interstate-690
ALBANY, NY (08/21/2008; 1221)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announces that motorists traveling to the State Fair via the Thruway will need to use Interchange 36 (I-81) southbound due to the closure of I-690 between Exits 5 and 6.
State Fair traffic exiting at Interchange 36 southbound will be directed to enter the fairgrounds from the rear entrance.
