NY-TF2 MOBEX EXERCISE
ALBANY, NY (10/18/2007; 1417)(readMedia)-- New York State Task Force Two will be holding their annual mobilization exercise on Saturday, October 20th starting at noon and running straight through until noon on Sunday, October 21st. This event will be a hands-on test of New York State's capabilities for Urban Search and Rescue. The exercise will have an actual collapse building with both live and simulated victims. This will be a test of the team's readiness to deploy for multiple days. The team is trained for building collapse, as well as trench, rope, confined space and water rescue. Currently, this is the only State-sponsored team that exists.
