National Guard Car Coming to Malone

LATHAM, NY (05/16/2008; 1143)(readMedia)-- The #88 National Guard car, a display model of the car NASCAR star Dale Earhart Jr. drives, will be at the Wal-Mart Supercent in Malone on May 19.
WHO: New York Army National Guard Recruiting Team.
WHAT: Making a twin of the National Guard NASCAR car available for the public to see. Visitors can also get their picture taken with the car.
WHEN: 10 a.m. to 4 pm. on May 19.
WHERE: 3222 State Route 11, Malone
BACKGROUND:
The National Guard sponsors Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the No. 88 National Guard/AMP Energy Team as a way to draw attention to the opportunities for service to community, state and nation, that the National Guard offers young men and women. Earnhardt is currently in third place in the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings after 11 of 36 races for the season.
