OGS To Award Over $318,233 In New Construction Contracts

Work to Commence in Suffolk County, New York

ALBANY, NY (09/04/2008; 1333)(readMedia)-- New York State Office of General Services Commissioner John C. Egan today announced the awarding of bids for one contract representing more than $318,233 in new construction, providing work in Suffolk County, New York.

The contract is expected to be awarded to the apparent low bidder following the normal process of review and approval by the State Comptroller's Office. The low bidder is a New York State firm.

SUFFOLK COUNTY

A construction contract to repave road and parking lot and repair sidewalk Building No. 700 at the Pilgrim Psychiatric Center in West Brentwood, NY was bid by seven firms. Of those seven, Watral Brothers Inc. of Bay Shore, NY was the apparent low bidder with a bid of $318,233.
