OGS To Host Celebration Of Hispanic Heritage
ALBANY, NY (10/09/2007; 1139)(readMedia)-- Event: Hispanic Heritage Celebration
The New York State Office of General Services presents a celebration in recognition of the rich culture, food and music of Hispanic Americans.
Special guests will be NY Secretary of State Lorraine Cortes-Vasquez and Colonel Pedro Perez, Deputy Superintendent of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation of the New York State Police. Col. Perez is the first Hispanic to have reached the rank of Colonel in the New York State Police. Also in attendance will be Yolanda Vega of the NYS Lottery Department and Eileen Reyes, Assistant to the Governor for Community Affairs. The musical guest will be Alex Torres and Friends.
