SOUTHAMPTON, NY (08/11/2008; 1525)(readMedia)-- Congressional candidate, Lee Zeldin (R-C), gathers with protesters and supporters on Monday, August 11, 2008, outside of Tim Bishop's Southampton office. The group wants Congress, which is currently on a 5-week vacation, to return to Washington and pass much needed energy and immigration reform. Zeldin also released the following brief statement:

Congress has earned their 9% approval rating, but certainly has not earned the 5- week vacation they are currently taking.
