Prestigious Workplace Learning Conference
ALBANY, NY (10/25/2007; 1211)(readMedia)-- A prestigious workplace learning and performance conference issued a Call for Presenters today for those interested in speaking at the event. The 13th Annual Hudson-Mohawk American Society for Training and Development Trainers’ Conference is Monday, March 24, 2008 at the Desmond Hotel in Colonie (Albany area).
The ASTD Trainers’ Conference is one of the premier training events in the state. The conference draws interest from all over the United States and showcases top training, performance and organizational development experts in the Northeast. The conference theme is *“Planting the Seeds for Tomorrow…Today!” * Each one – two hour session will give attendees the opportunity to ignite their creativity and provide them the tools to stay on top in their field.
Each presenter can choose their own topic involving workplace learning and productivity. This might involve new learning technologies, leadership development, customer service, diversity training and training design, etc. The deadline for presenter applications is November 15th.
“Presenters get wonderful exposure in front of nearly 200 top professionals in the learning field, a great chance to network, and gain some media attention,” said Presenters’ Committee Chair Dale Kelley. “It is also great recognition from your peers and a lot of fun.”
To learn more about being a presenter, or to apply to be one, go to www.astdhudsonmohawk.org or contact Dale Kelley at dale@cbgtraining.com or (518) 229-6130.
“The momentum is already building for our March conference,” said Conference Chair Christopher Perez. “This is a great fit for someone who has something worthwhile to present.”
For those wishing to simply attend the conference, the fee is $145 for ASTD members and $165 for non-members. If you register by March 1, 2007, save $20 off those fees.
