Producers Share in Spotted Swine Awards at State Fair
DES MOINES, IA (08/22/2008; 1718)(readMedia)-- Pork producers from across the state shared in the top prizes in the Spotted Swine Show judged Friday, August 15, at the 2008 Iowa State Fair.
The Behnkendorf Brothers of Algona's January gilt was named Champion while Jonathan and Tyler Triggs of Mt. Ayr claimed Reserve Champion Gilt honors.
Lister's Spot Farm of Bloomfield claimed the Champion Boar banner and Olson Spot Farm of Newhall claimed Reserve Champion.
Niehaus and Feldman Genetics of Greene claimed the Spotted Swine Premier Exhibitor title.
