ALBANY, NY (08/08/2008; 1641)(readMedia)-- The New York State Apprenticeship and Training Council announces a series of public forums to be held statewide in conjunction with the release of the External Coffey Consultant's Report "A Review of Apprenticeship in New York State" and the Department of Labor's Internal Process Mapping Report. These forums will provide the public an opportunity to voice their comments on the findings contained in the reports regarding New York State's Apprenticeship Training Program.
We invite you to attend the Apprenticeship Training Council Public Forums. WE REQUIRE YOU TO SIGN UP TO ATTEND OR SPEAK at these events. We will make every possible effort to allow you time to speak, however we cannot guarantee that all who register will be given time to speak. Speakers will be allotted a maximum time of five minutes. These forums are being held to provide the public an opportunity to comment; questions will not be answered at the forums. All sites are handicapped accessible. All visitors to all sites are reminded that they must have suitable (photo) identification to present to security upon entering the forum site.
TO ATTEND ONLY: If you wish to personally attend the forum in your area, but do not wish to speak, please CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE at least three days prior to the forum by contacting the New York State Department of Labor, Apprenticeship Training Unit via e-mail at WDTDRegistrar@labor.state.ny.us with "Attend Only" in the subject line.
