RAMP Chevy Steers Long Islanders Towards a Greener Future

RAMP Exhibits its Commitment to Environmental Solutions at Green Weekend Event in Celebration of Earth Day

PORT JEFFERSON, NY (04/21/2008; 0845)(readMedia)-- RAMP Chevy, Long Island’s #1 GM Dealer, is launching a four-day Green Weekend event (April 25, 26, 27, and 28) in recognition of Earth Day. The weekend event starts on Friday when RAMP will be presenting the Hydrogen Equinox along with two of their hybrid vehicles to the employees at Brookhaven National Lab.

At the RAMP location in Port Jefferson Station on Saturday, the Green Weekend will feature the Hydrogen Equinox and 2 of RAMP’s hybrid vehicles (Tahoe Hybrid, Malibu Hybrid) along with representatives from the Four Harbors Audubon Society will be in attendance to discuss “green” education. The entire weekend will be chock-full of information to educate Long Islanders about what everyone can do to protect our environment with Green auto care tips. In addition, customers can enjoy raffles, giveaways & food.

The 2008 Chevy Tahoe has already been ranked “best-in-class” on fuel economy and was recently named Green Car of the Year by the Green Car Journal.
