Reception for Legislators is Monday
The Legislature's Natural Resources Committee is meeting in Chadron.
CHADRON, NE (08/15/2008; 1532)(readMedia)-- Chadron State College will be the site of a public reception for the senators who serve on the Nebraska Legislature's Natural Resources Committee. People can meet the legislators from 4:30-5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, in the Chicoine Atrium of the Sandoz Center.
Sen. LeRoy Louden of Ellsworth is the committee's chairman. Other members are Tom Carlson of Holdrege, Mark Christensen of Imperial, Annette Dubas of Fullerton, Deb Fischer of Valentine, Tom Hansen of North Platte, John Harms of Scottsbluff and Gail Kopplin of Gretna.
The reception will precede the committee's hearing, which will be Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Student Center.
