Repairs to Take Place Eastbound Between Rochester Interchanges 46 and 45

Motorists May Experience Moderate Delays

ALBANY, NY (10/26/2007; 1123)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announces that pavement repairs will necessitate temporarily closing of the right lane eastbound at milepost 351 between Interchanges 46 (Rochester, Corning, I-390) and 45 (Rochester, Victor, I-490) on Monday, October 29, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2007.

Motorists may experience moderate delays during peak afternoon commuting hours on Monday, October 29 and may want to consider alternate routes.

The Authority will activate its Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to alert motorists of the lane closure.

Motorists are reminded to remain alert and aware of their surroundings while traveling through the work zone. Motorists should also keep in mind that speeding fines are doubled in work zones.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this project takes place.
