Scheduled Lane Closures on I-87 for Pipeline Replacement Project
ALBANY, NY (09/14/2007; 1608)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that lane closures are scheduled on I-87 next week to accommodate work for a Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation pipeline replacement project.
The right lane southbound along I-87 will be closed for two tenths of a mile, approximately seven miles south of the Woodbury Toll Barrier.
The lane closure will be in place from 1 p.m. on Monday, September 17 until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, from 11 p.m. on Tuesday to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19, from 9 a.m. on Wednesday to 5 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, from 10 a.m. on Thursday to 5 a.m. on Friday, September 21, and from 10 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Saturday, September 23.
No impact on Thruway traffic is expected.
