Thruway Authority Announces Interchange 15 Northbound Exit Ramp Closed
Motorists Advised to Seek Alternate Route
ALBANY, NY (02/22/2008; 2105)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announces that the Interchange 15 (NJ, I-287) northbound exit ramp has been temporarily closed due to a multiple vehicle accident on I-287.
Emergency crews are on the scene and the ramp will reopened as soon as conditions permit.
The Authority has activated the Highway advisory Radio (HAR) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to inform motorists of the ramp closure.
Motorists traveling northbound in the area are advised to seek an alternate route.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this incident.
