Thruway Authority Announces Interchange 24 (Albany, I-90, I-87) Exit Ramp Closed

Motorists May Experience Delays

ALBANY, NY (02/18/2008; 1632)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that the northbound and eastbound exit ramps at Interchange 24 (Albany, I-90, I87) have been temporarily closed due to a tractor trailer roll over.

Traffic is moving through the exit ramp on the right shoulder. State Police and emergency crews are in route and the ramp will be reopened as soon as conditions permit.

Motorists traveling in the area may experience delays.

Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) have been activated to inform motorists of the closure.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience and understanding during this time.
