Thruway Authority Announces Interchange 40 Closed on Entry and Exit Due to State Police Investigation
ALBANY, NY (04/03/2008; 1527)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that the entry and exit ramps at Interchange 40 (Weedsport), eastbound and westbound, have been closed due to an ongoing State Police investigation. Interchange 40 is located at milepost 304.19.
The interchange will reopen as soon as conditions permit.
The Authority has activated Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) at milepost 271 westbound between Interchanges 34 (Canastota) and 34A (Syracuse, I-481), and at milepost 280 westbound between Interchanges 35 (Syracuse, East Syracuse) and 36 (I-81), and eastbound near Interchange 43 (Manchester).
