Thruway Authority Announces Interchange 9 (Tarrytown) Ramp Reopened
ALBANY, NY (07/15/2008; 2137)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announced that the Interchange 9 (Tarrytown) exit and entrance ramps along I-87 southbound are now reopened to motorists. The ramps were temporarily closed earlier today due to an accident and down electrical wires.
The Authority had issued TRANSalerts to subscribers, and activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) to advise motorists of the ramp closures.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this incident.
