Thruway Authority Announces Interchange 9 (Tarrytown) Ramp Temporarily Closed
Motorists Encouraged to Seek Alternate Route
ALBANY, NY (07/15/2008; 0632)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announced that the Interchange 9 (Tarrytown) exit and entrance ramps along I-87 southbound are temporarily closed due to down wires. The ramps are expected to be closed for most of the day.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
The Authority has activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) to advise motorists of the ramp closures.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience at this time.
