Thruway Authority Announces Lane Closure at Interchange 17 (Newburgh)
Motorists May Experience Delays
ALBANY, NY (09/05/2007; 1233)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announces that the entry lane furthest to the right at the Interchange 17 (Newburgh) Toll Plaza has been temporarily closed due to an accident involving multiple vehicles. The Toll Utility Building and water main were damaged during this accident.
Motorists entering and exiting the Thruway in this area may experience delays.
Emergency crews are on the scene and the lane will be reopened as soon as conditions permit.
