Thruway Authority Announces Lane Closure at Interchange 34A (Rt. 481/East Syracuse)
Minor Traffic Delays May Occur
ALBANY, NY (07/07/2008; 1353)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announced that one exit lane at Interchange 34A (Rt. 481/East Syracuse) will be closed around the clock beginning at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 due to a reconstruction project. It is anticipated that the project will be completed by 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2008.
Motorists are advised that dedicated E-ZPass entry may be affected during peak travel times and as a result minor traffic delays may occur.
The Authority will activate its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to inform motorists of the construction and any delays that may occur.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience and understanding while these essential repairs take place.
