Thruway Authority Announces Lane Closure on Interchange 23 (Albany, I-787, Route 9W) Entrance Ramp

Motorists May Experience Delays

ALBANY, NY (10/25/2007; 1605)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announces that the right lane on the Interchange 23 (Albany, I-787, Route 9W) entrance ramp from I-787 southbound has been temporarily closed due to a tractor trailer roll over.

Emergency crews are on the scene and the lane will be reopened as soon as conditions permit.

Motorists traveling in this area may experience delays.

Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) have been activated on I-787 southbound to inform motorists of the lane closure on the ramp.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this incident.
