Thruway Authority Announces Lanes Reopened Northbound on I-95 Between Interchanges 16 and 17
ALBANY, NY (08/04/2008; 0507)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announces that the right and center northbound lanes on I-95 between Interchanges 16 (New Rochelle, North Ave., Cedar St.) and 17 (Larchmont , Chatsworth Ave.) have been reopened.
The lanes were temporarily closed earlier due to a fatal accident involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor trailer.

The Authority offers a free email service called TRANSalert to its customers via email or text messaging to inform them of major unscheduled incidents that may affect their travel on the Thruway.
