Thruway Authority Announces Northbound Lanes Blocked Approximately 3 Miles South of Woodbury
ALBANY, NY (04/02/2008; 0924)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that all northbound lanes along I-87 at milepost 42 are closed due to an accident. Milepost 42 is approximately three miles south of the Woodbury Toll Barrier.
At this time, there are significant delays both northbound and southbound in this area. Motorists are encouraged to plan for delays and/or seek alternate routes.
State Police, maintenance and emergency crews are on the scene. All lanes will be reopened as soon as conditions safely permit.
