Town Hall Meeting on Economic Security Comes to Binghamton
Public Input Sought by Governor's Economic Security Cabinet
ALBANY, NY (06/30/2008; 1128)(readMedia)-- Governor Paterson's Economic Security Cabinet will convene the fifth of 13 Regional Town Hall meetings to be held this summer to hear public comment on New York State's efforts to protect and enhance the economic security of low-income working families.

| WHAT: | The Economic Security Cabinet is exploring opportunities to support struggling low-income families. These Town Hall meetings will provide an opportunity to hear about the State's commitment to protecting and enhancing economic security. Suggestions from employers, labor representatives, researchers, advocates, and the general public are a vital part of this effort, and interested individuals are invited to provide written submissions and/or three minutes of in-person testimony. |
