Waterloo Rifle & Pistol Club Sponsors NRA Women On Target Event

TROY, NY (04/03/2008; 0843)(readMedia)-- Women's participation in the shooting sports is growing by leaps and bounds. The National Rifle Association and the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association are encouraging this trend by sponsoring Women On Target events throughout the state. These events introduce women to the shooting sports in a safe, supervised, noncompetitive environment.

The next New York event will be held at the Waterloo Rifle & Pistol Club in Waterloo on Saturday, April 26th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The disciplines at this event are rifle (.22 caliber and high power) and shotgun. Refreshments and lunch will be served, and all necessary equipment and ammunition will be provided, along with expert personal instruction. The fee is only $10.
