Restaurant, Restroom and Fuel Services Will Remain Available to Motorists
ALBANY, NY (02/04/2008; 1103)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that WiFi access at the Plattekill and Modena Travel Plazas will temporarily be suspended on Tuesday, February 5 from 12 a.m. until Wednesday, February 6 at 12 p.m. due to fiber optic work being performed as part of the Interchange 17 Reconstruction Project.
The Plattekill Travel Plaza is located northbound, between Interchanges 17 (Newburgh I-84) and 18 (New Paltz), at milepost 65. The Modena Travel Plaza is located southbound between Interchanges 18 (New Paltz) and 17 (Newburgh I-84), at milepost 66.
Restaurant, restroom and fuel services will remain available to motorists.
The Interchange 17 Reconstruction Project is being completed by A. Servidone/B. Anthony Construction Corporation of Castleton, New York and is scheduled to be completed by November 2009. The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience while this essential project moves forward.
