STAUNTON, VA (03/05/2010)(readMedia)-- The Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors will host a Wine Tasting and Silent Auction to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County. The event will be held on March 19th from 7-9pm at the Frontier Community Bank, 400 Lew DeWitt Boulevard, Waynesboro. The special tastings of wine provided by The Wine Cellar in Staunton will feature four region tables: France, California, Spain & Italy combined, and Argentina. The tastings featured are mostly 90 rated and better wines. There will also be a limited supply of micro-brews from Blue Mountain Brewery. Catering is provided by Chef Ian Boden, owner of Staunton Grocery Restaurant in Staunton.
The tickets for the "black tie optional" event, $100/couple or $75/individual, are available from any Board member or can be purchased at the Waynesboro Boys and Girls Club. A $1,000 Savings Bond door prize will be given away that evening. The communities of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County are encouraged to support the Boys and Girls Club that supports over 600 underpriviledged children in our area.
