2015 Maine Army National Guard and University of Maine ROTC Educator Flight

AUGUSTA, ME (08/11/2015)(readMedia)-- The Maine Army National Guard will host its first annual Educator Flight at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Bangor. Presidents, Directors, and Deans from various local universities, colleges, and technical schools gather to tour the Army National Guard's landmark aviation facility, and take a flight in a Black Hawk helicopter.
WHO: Maine Army National Guard
WHAT: A demonstration of the National Guard’s iStan mannequin. Hands on experience with Night Vision Goggles. Interactive presentation of UH-72 Lakota and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. The educators will learn about the opportunities and benefits offered by the Maine Army National Guard and University of Maine ROTC such as 100% tuition assistance and job training in over 100 different career fields that are all part-time with full-time benefits.
