451 Marketing Partnering with Housing Families Inc.

Fall Intern Class to Create Integrated Communications Strategy for Local Non-Profit

BOSTON, MA (09/28/2015)(readMedia)-- 451 Marketing, a national fully integrated marketing, communications, and creative agency today announced that it will be partnering with Housing Families Inc. for its fall intern marketing project. Guided by 451 Marketing employees, the interns will work to craft a comprehensive integrated communications strategy for the organization.

Housing Families works to end family homelessness. They provide safe, temporary shelter and quality affordable housing to homeless and at-risk families. Housing Families offers individualized supportive services to enrich children's lives, nurture the potential of each family member, and help families maintain permanent housing.

"Housing Families is excited to be working with 451 Marketing to benefit from the creativity and hard work of a team of interns to improve our social media presence and outreach," said Jim Goebelbecker, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of Housing Families, Inc. "We appreciate being selected as a great Boston company, making a real impact for homeless families and children. We are hopeful the assessment and recommendations the interns provide will help us spread the word of our success stories as we look to celebrate 30 years of service at our Gala in April 2016."

This partnership is the sixth installment of 451 Marketing's collaboration between its internship program and local non-profit organizations. This past summer, 451 Marketing partnered with BINA Farm, which brings together individuals with and without special needs by offering a variety of programs that help them to both thrive personally and make their best contribution towards the communities in which they live, and Somerville Community Corporation, which focuses the majority of its resources on the central question of sustaining affordability and livability for the lower income two thirds of the population. Past partnerships include Old North Foundation, Jane Doe Inc., Special Olympics Massachusetts, and Interise.

The project kicked off this September and will culminate with a final presentation, training, and strategy-handoff to Housing Families Inc. in December. Non-profit organizations interested in partnering with 451 Marketing for future projects should reach out to Halley Dodge at hdodge@451marketing.com.
