50 Days Until Fair Fever 2024

DES MOINES, IA (06/19/2024) (readMedia)-- The clock is ticking-only 50 days until the gates fly open for the far-out 2024 Iowa State Fair! Now's the time to plan your trip and get ready to catch some serious Fair Fever! This year's scene is set with a stellar lineup of new attractions and outta sight amenities, making the 2024 Fair the grooviest one yet!

Only 50 Days to Save

Attention line skippers and savvy spenders, save time and money by buying your advance admission tickets and Thrill Park passes and wristbands now. Save $5 on advance admission tickets good any day of the Fair.

Save $5 on Admission

Discount Advance Admission tickets are on sale now for $11 (ages 12 and up) and $7 (ages 6-11). Admission tickets are valid for one admission to the Fair any day, August 8-18, 2024.

Save $5 on Tractor Pulls, the Demo Derby and Figure 8 Races

Save money by purchasing your tickets to the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulls on August 13 and August 14. Pre-Fair tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children.

You can also save $5 by buying tickets to the Demolition Derby on Saturday, August 17 and the Figure 8 Races on Sunday, August 18. Pre-Fair tickets are just $15 for adults (ages 12 and over) and $10 for children (ages 2-11). The outdoor events are in the west arena called Elwell Family Park. Additional activities in Elwell Family Park are free events.

Save $10 on Rides

The Advance Thrill Pass is $30 for 40 ride credits in the main ride area, Thrill Ville, and the kids' rides in Thrill Town. This pass is good every day of the Fair, August 8-18, 2024, and credits can be added at any time.

Save More on Rides!

For Monday-Thursday in the main midway, Thrill Ville, and the kids' rides in Thrill Town, you can buy an Advance One Day Ride Wristband. Unlimited ride wristbands do not include games and unlimited rides only last until 10 p.m. on the day of use. Additional credits can be added at any time, but wristbands cannot be shared. This deal is only available before the Fair.

Save $12.50 on Family Fun

Find all the fun things to do at the Fair in one place and save money. State Fair Value Packs are just $20 and can only be purchased before the Fair. They don't include admission, but they include the Ye Old Mill, Snakes Alive or Train Exhibit, Rock Wall or Krazy Maze, Sky Glider, $4 in food, 2 trips down the Giant Slide and a cup of Barksdale's State Fair Cookies. State Fair Value Packs are available at www.iowastatefair.org through July 24 or purchase in person at the Iowa State Fair Ticket Office before August 8.
