The star of "Shop Girl," "Cheaper by the Dozen," "Parenthood," "The Jerk," "Roxanne," and countless other hits, had an extremely busy and fruitful 2010. Martin toured the country behind his 2010 Grammy award-winning bluegrass album The Crow/New Songs for the Five-String Banjo. His new album titled Rare Bird Alert will be released on March 15th. His second children's book was released on September 8th. In Late for School, Martin and illustrator C.F. Payne team up to tell the story of the adventure, danger, and laughs of the journey going to school. Enclosed is a CD of Martin on banjo and vocals, singing the book's story with a bluegrass twist.

For his adult audience, Martin's latest novel An Object of Beauty was released in November. Martin tells the story of a young, captivating, and ambitious young woman who takes the NYC art world by storm. Later this year, we can look forward to the movie "The Big Year" co-starring Owen Wilson and Jack Black. Martin plays a member of a group of avid bird watchers competing to spot the rarest birds in North America in an annual esteemed event.
