AICU Awards Scholarship to Tobie McNelly

Scholarship funded through the UPS Educational Endowment Fund

SILOAM SPRINGS, ARK. (12/13/2011)(readMedia)-- John Brown University senior Tobie McNelly has been awarded a $2,400 scholarship from Arkansas' Independent Colleges and Universities (AICU), funded through the UPS Educational Endowment Fund.

McNelly is the daughter of Keith and Susan Foster of Northwest Arkansas. She is majoring in Elementary Education.

AICU is a statewide association for private colleges and universities affiliated with the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC).

John Brown University is a private Christian university, ranked first among Southern regional colleges by U.S. News & World Report and is listed as one of America's Best Colleges by Forbes. JBU enrolls more than 2,100 students from 41 states and 44 countries. JBU is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
