APSU Welcomes its 2026 Purpose First Scholars Cohort

Purpose First Scholars is a career-focused learning community dedicated to helping first-generation and Pell-eligible students align their majors with their career goals during their first year of college. Students gain access to exclusive workshops and activities that help them develop a professional portfolio and build their confidence, receive coaching from a college success coach who recently graduated, and build a network with fellow first-generation students and supportive faculty and staff.
