Ackerman named Dana Scholar at Colgate University

HAMILTON, NY (03/01/2010)(readMedia)-- Carly Lauren Ackerman, a member of the Class of 2010 at Colgate University, has been named a Dana Scholar in recognition of superior academic achievement as well as demonstrated leadership in the campus community.

Selection as a Dana Scholar is a significant honor. The awards were established in 1965 by the late Charles A. Dana.

Ackerman is the daughter of Dr. Allen W. Ackerman and Mrs. Barbara J. Ackerman of Poughkeepsie, NY.
