Adriana Rodriguez joins Taylor University Sounds

UPLAND, IN (09/27/2010)(readMedia)-- Adriana Rodriguez of Columbus, OH is a member of the Taylor University Sounds vocal ensemble for the 2010/2011 season.

Directed by Dr. JoAnn Rediger, the Taylor Sounds is a select group of singers representing a variety of academic disciplines. The group's repertoire consists of literature that is appropriate for a small ensemble consisting of music from the entire spectrum of sacred choral works, secular madrigals, and vocal jazz. The Sounds perform regularly in chapel services on campus, special holiday celebrations, and campus events. In recent years the ensemble has traveled to Israel and Jordan; Nassau, Bahamas; Ireland, and throughout the United States. In March 2011 they will be traveling and performing in Cuenca, Ecuador.
